Social Security has NOTHING to do with the DEFICIT and is solvent until 2035. The GOP wants their grubby hands on that money and has since it's inception. Republicans have always despised Social Security when it is a saving grace for aging Americans.
Why would they want to abolish the Social Safety Nets for older Americans??? EVERYONE will get old and there comes a time when EVERYONE will be unable to work, laborers especially. The notion of raising the Social Security age to 70 is absolutely ludicrous. And on top of it, we've been paying into it all of our working lives, where does that money go? To support the Hyper-Rich and Big Oil???
Who is going to hire a 68 year old? On top of it our 401K's have been decimated. How are older American supposed to survive in our Nation if the GOP has their way?”
